Firstly, very best wishes for this New Year to all our members. May we all avoid being afflicted by unsuitable developments and dubious planning decisions.
Now a plea!
Carol, our very long serving secretary, has stood down and we owe her our thanks for all her years of service. However, the Association cannot function efficiently without a secretary, so a replacement is urgently needed! We can if necessary, split the job into two; admin matters as one part, and minutes secretary as the other. Our January meeting is the usual 2nd Wednesday in the month, the 10th; usual place, the committee room at St Aldhelm’s church and usual time 7-30pm.
I will post an agenda shortly, but it will include the usual updates and a discussion on how we will make our views known and clear at the forthcoming BCP consultation on the latest Strategic plan.
If any member has a particular item to bring up, please let me know, and I will ensure it is included.
